EVENT INFORMATION:
With the health and well-being of our patients, family members, friends and faculty as our top priority, AAMDSIF has decided to hold our National March for Marrow as a VIRTUAL EVENT!
COVID-19 has altered so much of our lives, and we hope you will join us in this virtual community to walk or run to spread awareness for bone marrow failure diseases!
The Aplastic Anemia and MDS International Foundation provides education, support, and hope for patients living with aplastic anemia, myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS), paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria (PNH) and related bone marrow failure diseases.
Help us raise awareness for bone marrow failure disease!

DETAILS
When
Saturday, July 18, 2020 for the VIRTUAL Walk or Run!
Where
Virtual Walk: Take a stroll through your neighborhood, on your treadmill, or sleep in!
Virtual 5K Run: We challenge everyone who signed up to run to upload Strava or use whichever app you currently track your distance and time. Take a run, and turn in your results by midnight, Saturday, July 18th here so we can award prizes for the fastest times! Email Julie Lowe with any questions you may have.
What
We are raising awareness and funds through this event to search for a cure for bone marrow failure disease and to support the patients who are living with it!
What Else?
We have partnered with Be The Match to support the National Bone Marrow Registry. It is crucial to grow and diversify the registry, so all patients have equal access to a cure. Click on the flyer below for more information and the QR code to scan to join the registry!
Event Goal Help reach our goal to provide patients and family services!
Prizes
We will be giving out special prizes for Team Fundraising, Individual Fundraising, Best T-shirt/Costume, Most Unique Place to Walk/Run, Fastest 5K Time, and Cutest Pet Picture! Be sure to tag AAMDSIF in your photos on social media and use #MarchForMarrow to win Cutest Pet, Most Unique Place to Walk/Run, and Best T-shirt/Costume!
