March for Marrow 5K Run & Walk
Washington DC 2018
Saturday, September 29
For 35 years, the Aplastic Anemia and MDS International Foundation has been working to provide education, support, and hope for patients living with aplastic anemia, myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS), paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria (PNH) and related bone marrow failure diseases. Our 3rd annual March for Marrow 5K Run & Walk DC is in memory of Richard W. Carr and Ivan Fisher. Join us for a morning of fun, remembrance, and awareness at Hains Point! After two years of cold December weather, this year for the first time our event moves to September.
Help us raise awareness for bone marrow failure disease!
Make a difference, help a patient. Don't delay!
You can register online through 12:00pm on Friday 9/28/18 for both the 5K run and walk.
The National Park Service does not permit on-site registration, so please make sure to register online by Friday 9/28!
Our goal is to have 500 people running and walking for bone marrow failure diseases.
Join us - register yourself, build a team, become a virtual walker or make a contribution to support our efforts.

ABOUT
The Aplastic Anemia and MDS International Foundation (AAMDSIF) is the world's leading nonprofit health organization for patients and families living with aplastic anemia, myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS), paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria (PNH) and related bone marrow failure diseases.
The Foundation’s strength stems from the multi-faceted community it developed 35 years. AAMDSIF serves and educates the patient population and health professionals and provides financial support to clinical researchers searching for better treatments and cures.
For 12 consecutive years, AAMDSIF has earned a coveted 4-star rating from Charity Navigator, the highest rating awarded by America’s largest independent charity evaluator. Only 1 percent of all American charities achieve this recognition for sound fiscal management and commitment to accountability and transparency.
