Rami Komrokji, MD, is the Vice chair of the Malignant Hematology Department and the head of the Leukemia and MDS Section at Moffitt Cancer Center. He is a Senior Member of the Malignant Hematology and Experimental Therapeutics Program at the center, and a Professor of Oncologic Sciences at the College of Medicine at the University of South Florida, in Tampa, Florida. Dr. Komrokji is also a member of the AAMDSIF Medical Advisory Board.

Dr. Komrokji will address the concerns of low-risk MDS patients and their caregivers and will review the precautions they should be taking to protect their health.
