The 10th International Bone Marrow Failure Disease Symposium will bring together physicians treating these diseases; laboratory researchers studying the genetics, genomics, and pathophysiology of bone marrow failure; and clinical investigators to discuss current areas of consensus and controversy, share recent research results, and identify the highest-priority directions for basic and clinical research to advance the field.
The past few years have seen exciting new developments in treatments for the three diseases, including new drugs and advances in bone marrow transplantation, as well as new insights into the molecular pathogenesis of the diseases. As with our previous Symposiums, this 2026 gathering of international bone marrow failure specialists will advance the knowledge of the clinical and laboratory science in these diseases and will clarify promising directions for collaborative research.
This Scientific Symposium is a unique forum that focuses on recent advances in the field and fosters robust debate both during and between the sessions. Researchers are invited to submit abstracts on innovative bone marrow failure research for the poster session on Thursday evening.
For New Investigators, the Symposium is an especially rare opportunity to interact with international bone marrow failure experts. Travel grants are available for New Investigators to attend the program.
